【タイ・バンコク】4月21日はタイの首都がバンコクになった日！4月27日まで、ラタナコーシン王朝243周年記念イベント開催中！

1．Chulalongkorn University’s Centenary Park:1つ目の会場は、タイの首都バンコクの都市部で、チュラーロンコーン大学設立100年を記念して、都市の森というコンセプトとして2017年3月26日にグランドオープンした公園「チュラロンコン大学100周年記念公園」では、 “Light of Royal Wisdom” の演出の他、有名なアーティストたちによる、様々な文化や音楽パフォーマンス（Nora dance、a Western orchestra by the Fine Arts Department,、performances by the Folk Artists Association under the Department of Cultural Promotion、Khon masked theatre by the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute、 contemporary cultural showcases by the Office of Contemporary Art and Cultureを含む）が行われる予定です。また、文化を特徴づけるタイ料理、スイーツ、ワークショップ、地元の特産品やアーティストの商品を取り扱う市場も開催されるようです。ハイライトとして紹介されているのは、以下の通りです。

・Featuring popular teen artist Taao Pittaya.
・Khon masked dance performance: Ramakien, Episode: Wayuput Wutthikrai.
・Explore, taste, and purchase Thai food, local specialities, cultural products, and offerings from over 100 stalls at the artists’ market.

2．National Museum Bangkok:2つ目の会場となっているのは、バンコク国立博物館「National Museum Bangkok」で、文化的パフォーマンス、特別に夜間開放（ナイトミュージアム）、屋外シネマスクリーン、地元特産品の商品や食べ物を扱う屋台なども集まっているようです。ハイライトとして紹介されているのは以下の通りです。
・Experience the nocturnal beauty of the National Museum Bangkok during its “Night Museum” opening (free entry).
・Isan Pong Lang (northeastern Thai xylophone) performance.
・A glimpse of Siam through the Royal Railway Department’s film archive: historical footage of Bangkok and Siam during the reign of King Rama VII.

また、FB（https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16HHheNgzd/参照）によると、開館時間は9時～20時ですが、4月23日～27日の期間中、特別に、無料で入館できるナイトミュージアムは16時～20時で、17時～と18時～見られるパフォーマンスが見られるようです。

3． Wat Prayurawongsawat Worawihan:3つ目の会場となっている寺院「ワット・プラユーン・ウォンサーワート」では、「Temple Fair: A Journey to the Past, Exploring the Kudi Chin-Khlong San Community」というお祭りを開催しています。Activities will include paying respects to Buddha images for blessings, cultural performances, cultural tourism initiatives, nighttime bicycle tours of local temples, a Luk Thung and Luk Krung singing competition, a three-faith food contest, and demonstrations and sales of distinctive cultural products from the Kudi Chin area.　ハイライトとして紹介されているのは、以下の通りです。

・Visit the temple fair, stepping back in time to explore the Kudi Chin-Khlong San community.
・Orchestra performance.
・Nora Chatri dance performance: Sang Thong (The Golden Conch Shell).
・Likay (Thai traditional folk opera) performance featuring stars from the Prasit Wongnil troupe.
・Luk Thung (Thai country music) singing competition.
・Paying respects to Buddha images for blessings and good fortune.

この他、終了したイベントになりますが、2025年4月20日（日）の9:09からは、チュラロンコン大学のthe Maha ChulalongkornとMaha Vajiravudh Buildingsの間にある芝地で、Ceremony to propitiate the deities、2025年4月21日（月）の7:00には、プラナコン地区にある寺院「Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangkalaram」で、Merit-making ceremony for royal ancestors and alms offering to 99 monks、9:30には「Ceremony to honour the sacred spirits of the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine」が開催されていたようです。
